120 receive graduation certificates

Minister of Development Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid presented certificates to 120 graduates and Best Student Awards at the annual Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS) convocation ceremony yesterday.

Themed ‘Digitalisation of Learning and Development for Digital Transformation’, the ceremony at the college’s main hall began with welcoming remarks from KIGS Chief Executive Officer Dr Haji Azaharaini bin Haji Mohd Jamil.

The ceremony saw Bachelor’s degrees awarded to 23 graduates in Business Administration, six in Accounting, 19 in Information Technology, 10 in Software Engineering with Multimedia, and 13 in of Digital Media and three in Professional Design.

Meanwhile, there were 36 graduates at the diploma level and five graduates from the Arts and Design certification major, three graduates from the Multimedia and Broadcasting major and two graduates from the NTec programme major.

One graduate achieved First Class Honours in the Bachelor of Communication degree programme in the field of Digital Media and 12 graduates were named the Best Students according to their respective faculties.

The Tan Sri Dato’ Paduka Dr Lim Kok Wing’s Excellence Award was awarded to Nurul Hayani binti Salleh who graduated with First Class Honours.
