Some 117 Year 7 and 8 students of Lambak Kiri Secondary School attended a nationhood briefing organised by the Information Department under the Prime Minister’s Office through its Nationhood Unit, Strategic Communications Division yesterday.
The programme is one of the efforts of the Information Department to instil affection for the monarch, religion and nation, as well as the spirit of patriotism and solidarity among the students.
The talk was delivered by Assistant Information Officer at the Information Department Hajah Noorhijrah binti Haji Idris.
Among the topics featured were the monarch, the proper way of hoisting the national flag and the history of Brunei Darussalam’s national anthem Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
The briefing concluded with the presentation of prizes to students who answered the nationhood quiz correctly.
Also in attendance was the school’s principal Rosmawati binti Mohammad and teaching staff.
