1,059,139 average steps lead to best of the best

Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd was announced the winner of the best of the best among different categories of the BN on the Move Championship 2024 with a total of 1,059,139 average steps and took home a trophy for their achievement.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) won the government category with the highest participation with 1,889 members while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs won most active government category with 494,919 average steps.

BN on the Move Championship 2024 was conducted from May 20 to September 20, receiving overwhelming support and participation with 31,393 participants and achieving over 10 billion steps.

The championship is an initiative by the MoH aimed at promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among the public and encourages BruHealth app users to be physically active.

Winners of the competition were awarded at the closing ceremony held at Al-‘Afiah Hall at the MoH with Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar as the guest of honour who presented prizes to the winners.

The Institute of Brunei Technical Education won highest participation for higher educational institution category while Kolej International Graduate Studies won the most active higher educational institution category.

Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd won the private category with the highest participation of 1,336 members while Darussalam Assets was named the most active in the private category.

Team LOLLYPOP won the public category with 3,298,447 average steps. Ten lucky draw winners also took home prizes.

Meanwhile, over 400 BN on the Move Championship 2024 T-shirts were sold, with a portion of the sales donated to the Tabung Amal Bantuan Pesakit. – Lyna Mohamad
