105 graduates feted in ceremony

Some 105 graduates from Micronet International College (MIC) were feted in a ceremony at the Indera Samudra Grand Hall, The Empire Brunei yesterday. Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) at the Ministry of Education Dr Haji Azman bin Ahmad as a representative of the minister of education presented certificates and awards to the graduates.

Six students received the Pearson BTEC Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Information Technology; 15 in Pearson BTEC International Level 2 Certificate in Information Technology; three in Pearson BTEC International Level 2 Certificate in Business; 40 in Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Diploma in Information Technology; and 41 in Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Computing.

Norhazatul A’tiyah binti Haji Mohamad Zuhdi Azally of Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Diploma in Information Technology received the Double Grade Distinction Merit Award, while Hisyamattul Hazimah binti Ramliee of Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Computing received the Distinction Award. Graduate representatives Norhazatul A’tiyah of Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Diploma in Information Technology and Hisyamattul Hazimah of Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Computing delivered the graduation speeches. – Fadley Faisal
