Fifteen-year-old cancer survivor Danish Aliuddin bin Md Noorizan (James Kon, pic below) was in awe after presenting his painting as pesambah to Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman during the opening ceremony of the new Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) Community Centre yesterday.
The leukaemia survivor said, ”Alhamdulillah, it is a special day for YASKA and myself. I am happy and excited to present a pesambah of my painting to Her Royal Highness.”
The Lambak Kiri Secondary School student said, “The painting is of the sea, mountain and moon. It took several hours to complete with all the colours and spray works.”
Danish Aliuddin has been passionate about drawing from a tender age. He started drawing cartoons and began developing his skills by the age of 10.
He is looking to have more drawing projects in the future.
