The Panaga Club’s Yoga Section marked International Women’s Day with a yoga session at the club’s multi-purpose hall recently, which was designed to honour the strength, resilience and empowerment of women.
The class, led by yoga instructor Susan Decena incorporated a variety of poses and breathing techniques aimed at promoting mental and physical wellness.
It aimed to provide attendees a space to focus on their health while celebrating the unique role women play in both the community and the world at large. In line with the day’s theme, the session also included a moment of reflection, where participants were encouraged to appreciate their strengths and the achievements of women everywhere.
The participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to take part in the activity, with many stating that the session offered them a much-needed break from their daily routines while also fostering a sense of unity among women.
The yoga session represents a continued commitment by the Panaga Yoga Section to promoting wellness and inclusivity within the community. – Daniel Lim
