The event began with a procession of graduates and teachers to the hall followed by the singing of the national anthem and school song.

Headmistress Hajah Mariam binti Haji Ladi in her speech congratulated the students for their achievements and conveyed her gratitude to the teachers for their contribution, particularly Year 6 teachers focussing on Primary School Assessment (PSR) subjects as well as religious studies.

She noted that the excellence achieved by students was a reflection of a collective effort shown by teachers and parents in educating, encouraging and supporting and the students.

“Since its re-opening in May, the school has been carrying out initiatives to meet its goals including conducting intervention classes, extending teaching periods for each subject, setting up mathematics team every Friday, and monitoring students’ attendance including those facing motivational or behavioural problems,” she said.

The ceremony continued with a speech by top student Awangku Abdul Hakeem bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Salam of Year 6 Mars.
