Al-Quran is the light of truth and a reminder for those who benefit from it. It needs to be understood, pondered (Tadabbur), embodied in daily life, and needs to be taught to the general public, especially the mosque congregants.
This was stated by Head of the Guidance and Training Division of the Mosque Affairs Department Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Mohd Noor in his capacity as the Co-Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Tadabbur Al-Quran Workshop during a press conference at the Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) yesterday.
The workshop for mosque officials is organised by KUPU SB’s Faculty of Usuluddin, in cooperation with the Mosque Affairs Department of the MoRA, a press release stated.
One hundred participants, comprising mosque officers throughout the Sultanate, will participate in the two-day workshop held at KUPU SB’s Tarbiyah Hall from November 17-18, facilitated by KUPU SB lecturers.
The workshop aimed to disseminate proper and effective Tadabbur Al-Quran procedures, and to train mosque officers as muallim in guiding mosque congregants in understanding Al-Quran.
It is also held to help participants improve the quality of Al-Quran recitation and enhance teaching deliveries to the congregants.
