Workshop promotes Arabic Language teaching skills

LUGHATUL Mu’allim 3.0 workshop organised by the Language Centre of Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) helps teachers master four basic skills in the Arabic Language field, namely Istima’, Qira’ah, Kitabah and Kalam.

The workshop for Arabic Language teachers under Islamic Studies Department, is held for 10 weeks from yesterday until May 15.

The workshop upholds the titah of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam during the KUPU SB Convocation 2016, urging teachers to improve the quality proficiency of Arabic Language among the students.

The event saw the presentation of the keynote paper by Assistant Officer at the Language Centre of KUPU SB Dr Abdelbaset Slama Hekal, titled Kaedah Menguasai Kemahiran Bertutur (dalam Bahasa Arab).

The guest of honour, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang presented souvenirs to the keynote speakers.

Also in attendance were Acting Deputy Ra’es of KUPU SB Dr Abang Haji Hadzmin bin Abang Haji Taha, Acting Assistant Ra’es of KUPU SB Datin Dr Hajah Noor Hira binti Haji Noor Kaseh, key officers and students of the college university.
