The Mosque Affairs Department for Brunei-Muara District and mosque takmir committee recently held a two-day workshop at Sufri Bolkiah Mosque in Kampong Perpindahan Berakas to help Merbut (Azan caller), mosque committee members and youth to better understand the role of Muazin and to fine tune Azan.
Mosque Affairs Officer Haji Abdul Aziz bin Haji Md Yassin was present.
The programme was also aimed at enlivening mosque activities and strengthening Islamic knowledge among mosque congregants.
Haji Daud bin Haji Abdul Kadir facilitated the programme.
