Villages across the country are actively pursuing activities under the Neighbourhood Watch (PK) Programme, focussed on crime prevention approaches and patrols.

These activities are organised by the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF).

The Bandar Seri Begawan Central Police Station, Berakas Police Station and Limau Manis Police Station – through their Stations Focal Point – teamed up with village heads of Kampong Menglait, Kampong Kiulap, RPN Kampong Lambak Kanan and Kampong Bebuloh for a crime prevention activity recently.

The Panaga Police Station personnel held a meeting with PK RPN Panaga Seria members to discuss the purpose of the PK, achieving the goal of reducing criminal activities in the country, and future NW activities.

It is hoped the move will enhance relations among the public and enhance the understanding on crime eradication.

Meanwhile, in the Temburong District, the Bangar Police Station with members of the PK Kampong Selangan carried out a crime prevention patrol focussing on areas of Kampong Parit A and B, Kampong Sibulu, the Jalan Ang Ping Hui Quarry boat jetty, the Temburong Quarry, Puni Quarry and Kampong Biang.

The patrol was led by the Bangar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Inspector Muhd Ajib bin Haji Ahmad Awal, Assistant Officer-in-Charge Probationary Inspector Iman Aqilah Fikriah binti Haji Mohd Shafiee and two personnel from the station.

The PK members were led by the Acting Village Head of Kampong Selangan Dulamit bin Burut, along with three members of the PK Kampong Selangan.
