The Super Smasher ‘Women in Badminton’ (WIB) tournament concluded on Saturday with thrilling final rounds and a prize presentation.
In the novice category, Dayangku Zaahirah binti Pengiran Zulkifli and Dayangku Sri Ridhwanah binti Pengiran Matarsat emerged as the champions, defeating Ho Siew Ting and Vivien Ng Soon Jua, while Tang Ting Ting and Chu Hui Chiet were placed in third.
The intermediate category saw Sabarinah binti Haji Mohd Sa’at and Chan Hazney Abdul Hariz clinch the title after beating Nurul Naqiyah Zakiyah binti Haji Joharry and Siti Nurzaemah binti Musa.
Meanwhile, in the advanced category, Nicole Leong Mei Fang and Noor Azura binti Mohd Salleh claimed top spot, after defeating Nur Najmah binti Matshah and Siti Nurhayati binti Mohd Jefri, while Katrina Aguirre Robertson and Isczhi Meij Reciproco Borro finished in third place. – Fadley Faisal
