KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) – A woman died after falling about 15 metres while climbing Bukit Batu Condong, Kemensah yesterday.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis said the victim, Syarfalili Sahahir, 31, sustained serious head and leg injuries after falling on the rocky and steep slope in the 9am incident.
“The victim was brought down at about 3.20pm and pronounced dead by a doctor at the Ampang Hospital,” he said.
He said eight firemen from the Ampang Fire and Rescue Station rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call at 9.26am and brought down the victim with the help of 18 members from the Special Tactical Operations and Rescue of Malaysia (STORM).
The body was then sent to Ampang Hospital for post-mortem, he added.
