According to the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), police personnel raided a motel room in Mulaut and discovered evidence of involvement, including cash and a mobile phone.

The suspect was taken to be tested for COVID-19 and is being investigated under Section 29A, Chapter 22 of the Penal Code.

The RBPF urged the public to provide cooperation by channelling information of suspicious activities to the police hotline at 993 or visit a nearby police station.
