Siti Nurul Ain binti Haji Amin took home the grand lucky draw prize of a NIU E-Scooter during the grand lucky draw held in conjunction with the launching of Electric Vehicle (EV) Pilot Project, while Muhammad Wafiy bin Mohd Amin won the second prize of a One Cool
Twenty shortlisted participants were drawn yesterday for the grand lucky draw from 60 drawn the day before at 9pm. Sixteen lucky draw prizes were presented to the winners to mark the conclusion of the four-day showcase at Bridex Hall 2 in Jerudong.
The showcase was organised by the Ministry of Transport an Info-communications and Ministry of Energy together with Brunei Darussalam Automobile Association to mark the start of a newer approach to educating and raising awareness on EV in Brunei.
The EV launch serves as an opportunity to introduce a new concept together with the Brunei Darussalam National Climate Change Policy (BNCCP) scheme to the public, which aims to achieve an increase of knowledge in lowering negative environmental impacts.
The launch educates and exposes the nation’s aim to increase the market share of electric vehicles to 60 per cent of total annual sales by 2035.
