WESG SEA 2019 is back

THE World Electronic Sport Games (WESG) South East Asia (SEA) 2019 is back with BruGames Management Services awarded the organiser for Brunei National Qualifiers. The game title for this year will be CS GO, CS GO Woman, Dota 2 and Starcraft 2.

The Brunei National Qualifiers will take place on September 7-8 for the Online phase until four teams remain, while September 14-15 will be the LAN phase where the top four teams will compete for the number one spot to represent Brunei Darussalam.

The prize pool for the National Qualifiers will be Champion: USD750 plus an all expenses paid trip to compete in SEA Finals; 2nd Place: USD450; 3rd Place: USD150; and 4th Place: USD150 for CSGO, CSGO Woman, Dota 2.

The Starcraft 2 Champion, meanwhile, will win USD375 plus an all expenses paid trip to compete in SEA Finals; 2nd Place: USD225; 3rd Place: USD75; and 4th Place: USD75.

Last year’s edition saw Brunei’s CS GO team Exidium finishing joint 4th-6th with Singapore and Vietnam at the SEA Finals in Kuala Lumpur, losing the 4th and final spot to compete in the World Finals at China by kill score difference.
