Twelve cannon shots echoed at the heart of the capital yesterday to mark the start of Ramadhan for 1445 Hijrah.
The shots at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien were fired by Royal Brunei Armed Forces personnel.
The cannon shots are a tradition in the Sultanate to celebrate the arrival of a month full of blessings. – Azlan Othman
