Members of the public can look forward to a weekend of fun and activities at Baiduri Bank’s roadshow held at the Atrium concourse of The Mall, Gadong until tomorrow from 10am to 10pm.

It is also one of the bank’s efforts to reach out to a wider audience through a more interactive platform, update them on the latest offerings from Baiduri Bank and its subsidiaries, while also taking a unique approach towards promoting financial literacy and inclusion to the public.
The roadshow focusses on meeting with the general public to talk about their financial aspirations and needs in a fun and laid-back setting, with various booths available to help visitors with their financial needs across different life stages, such as protection, wealth management, financing, education planning and retirement planning.
Throughout the weekend, personal financial planners will be on hand to offer complimentary financial health checks and recommendations based on each person’s lifestyle needs and aspirations.
Head of Retail Banking at Baiduri Bank Lim Kian Chiong said the roadshow is an opportunity for the bank to connect with its stakeholdersin a more relaxed setting.
He said, “The roadshow is designed in a way that allows us to ‘hangout’ and engage with everyone to understand their personal financial goals, much like spending time with your friends.
“It is also the bank’s way of making financial planning and financial education more accessible to everyone.
“This way, we can work with them and help them achieve financial success, no matter what life stage they are in – whether they’re a fresh graduate looking to start their career, or a couple looking to finance their first house and start their own family.”
Various promotional offers will be available during the roadshow, as well as hourly quizzes, family-friendly games for children, and various food and beverage vendors such as Leaves & Loaves, Project Ice Cream and Two Sons Coffee.
Meanwhile, customers whosign up for credit cards, personal financing, investments, insurance and Smart Executive Programme will receive a BND20 Supa Save voucher on a first-come-first-serve basis while stocks last. Other activities include a collaboration with Royal Brunei, where the first 50 customers who sign up for the Royal Brunei Visa Cards by Baiduri Bank will receive Royal Brunei merchandise, while the first 100 new Royal Skies membership sign-ups will be entitled to a lucky dip to either win 500 or 1,000 Royal Skies miles or a Royal Skies phone stand.
Entrance to the roadshow is free of charge. In line with the guidelines set out by the Ministry of Health, members of the public are also reminded to observe by the social distancing rules during the roadshow and take their temperatures as well as scan their BruHealth codes prior to entering the roadshow area.
