‘We aim to provide highest quality services’: Ministry

In response to the letter, ‘Hygiene needs to be top priority at hospital’, published in the Opinion page of the Weekend Bulletin on February 25, the Ministry of Health (MoH) would like to thank Frustrated Carer for highlighting the issue as well as offering constructive remarks.

The MoH aims to provide the highest quality services to all our clients, and it is also our top priority to maintain a high-level standard of hygiene and cleanliness at all our health facilities, such as the hospitals and health centres.

The MoH will be taking the necessary steps to ensure the toilet facilities at all our hospitals and health centres are comfortable and clean, following the standards set out in the ministry’s infection prevention and control guidelines.

Furthermore, together with the cooperation from the public, we can maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the facilities at our hospitals and health centres.

The public can contact us for feedback or suggestions through Darussalam Line 123 or e-mail to corp_comms@moh.gov.bn.
