Water disruptions in a number of areas are expected as replacement works are carried out for leaking pipe at the over-crossing in Kampong Paya Berangan in Temburong District, said the Public Works Department (JKR). The replacement work begins tonight at 10pm.
Locations along Kampong Paya until Kampong Buda-Buda will experience low water pressure or no supply, said the JKR.
Meanwhile, residents in Kampong Katok ‘B’, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School and its surrounding area will also experience water supply disruptions, especially in high areas due to cleaning works for Kampong Katok B main pipes, the begins today from 9am until 2pm.
The department asked for the cooperation of all parties to be frugal in water consumption, adding that clean water supply tankers can be requested through Darussalam Line 123.
