The national football team are prepared to give Thailand a good fight in their opening Group ‘A’ match of the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Mitsubishi Electric Cup (AMEC 2022) at the KLFA Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia today.

The Wasps are in a confidently upbeat mood despite the sheer strength and standard of the reigning holders.

National team captain Hendra Azam Idris painted a positive attitude of the players towards their rivals.

Hendra Azam said, “I believe that there is nothing impossible in football and we are determined to upset them and give a good fight.

“All the players are excited and believe we can steal points from other teams in the tournament.”

He continued, “The feeling of the players is very good, the team mood is marvellous and they are excited to play in the AFF.

“The mentality is good and they want to show everyone that they can fight any team.”

The national football team conducted their final training preparations at the Police Training Centre, Pulapol last weekend.
