Visit highlights Tutong District’s attractions

A GROUP of tourism students from Tutong Sixth Form Centre recently made a study visit to the Tutong District Tourism Promotion and Coordination Body at the Tutong District Office.

The 13-member delegation was led by two teachers, Dayangku Malia binti Pengiran Haji Damit and Muhammad Rajuan bin Abdullah Luang.

The students were briefed on places of interests in the Tutong District included in the tourism packages offered by the Tutong District Tourism Promotion and Coordination Body.

CEO-cum-Chairman of Tutong District Tourism Promotion and Coordination Body Muhammad Amir bin Haji Umarali delivered the briefing. The students were also briefed on the establishment of the Tutong District Tourism Promotion and Coordination Body and the roles played by its members.

The students were briefed on the key attractions in the district, and were given a tour of the 1K1P Gallery at the Tutong District Office by Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, a member of the Tutong District Tourism Promotion and Coordination Body.

According to Dayangku Malia, the visit was organised to provide the students taking tourism related subjects with extra knowledge and information about the country’s tourism industry and places of interest in the Tutong District for their school project.
