Visit boosts Brunei, China business relationship

A delegation from the Committee for Ethnic and Religious Affairs, National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) made a courtesy call on the Brunei Darussalam Hokkien Association and representatives from several Chinese associations at the Hokkien Association’s premises in Kiulap yesterday.

The delegation was led by Standing Committee Member of the 13th CPPCC and Vice Chairman of the Committee of Ethnic and Religious Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Quan Zhezhu.

Accompanying the delegation was Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam Yu Hong.

The delegation was welcomed by Chairman of the Brunei Darussalam Hokkien Association Lim Han Chiong and President of Brunei-China Belt and Road Initiative Association Jackson Ting as well as representatives from Chinese associations.

Both sides discussed and exchanged views on the business relationship between the two countries.
