Some 21 instructors and lectures from Hung Yen University of Technology and Education (UTEHY), Vietnam received certificates from the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation for Vocational and Technical Education and Training (SEAMEO VOCTECH) after completing their Virtual in Country Programme for Vietnam on Assessment of Student Competencies on May 25.
SEAMEO VOCTECH Centre Director Alias bin Haji Abu Bakar attended the e-certificate presentation along with UTEHY Executive Head of the Department of Scientific, Technological Management, and International Cooperation Dr Vu Hong Son; Technical and Vocational Education and Training Specialist (Teacher Education) cum Knowledge Management Manager Lim Bee Yew as course coordinator as well as SEAMEO VOCTECH management and officers.
The programme’s main objective was to enhance the participants’ understanding of competency and its assessment in a competency-based education and training (CBET) environment.
The centre director in his closing remarks congratulated participants for completing and fulfilling the training requirements.
