Tien Sing Vegetarian Restaurant was the latest addition to the Healthy Dining programme on July 29.

Forty-nine per cent of Tien Sing Vegetarian Restaurant’s menu has been considered healthier options with the healthier delicacies easily identifiable from the Healthier Choice Logo sticker.

Head of Health Promotion Centre (HPC) Dr Hajah Norhayati binti Haji Md Kassim officiated the launch. Ministry of Health (MoH) senior officers and officers and guests were also present.

Introduced in 2014, the programme serves to help change the diet of Bruneians when they dine out and eat at home where the MoH through HPC is committed to making heathier food options available and accessible.

The programme has continued to be one of the key action plans identified in the ministry’s Strategic Plan 2019-2023 to realise the vision of the Ministry of Health: Together Towards a Healthy Nation and since the introduction of this programme, a total of 25 food outlets have participated in the programme.
