Vaccination centre close for Aidiladha, His Majesty’s birthday

There are four cases in Category 4 which require respiratory assistance while two Category 5 cases remain, receiving treatment at the intensive care unit.

The latest COVID-19 situation was shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in the daily statement on COVID-19 new norm, adding that no COVID fatalities have been reported in the last 24 hours.

The COVID-19 vaccination coverage rate for the populace having received the third dose remained at 73.6 per cent, while 3.9 per cent have been administered the fourth dose.

A total of 76.8 per cent of children aged five to 11 years have been double dosed, while 51 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 years have received the third dose. A total of 1,536 recoveries were recorded yesterday, bringing the number of recovered cases to 170,587.

The Ministry also announced the temporary closure of vaccination centre at Berakas Health Centre today for Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration, and on July 15 for His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 76th birthday celebration.

The vaccination centre will resume operation on Monday from 2pm until 8pm.
