Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) hosted the Chancellor’s Trophy 2022 track and field competition at the Tutong Sports Complex’s track and field area from March 6 to 8.
The competitions comprised discus throw, shot put, javelin, 1,500-metre race, 800-metre race, 200-metre race, 100-metre race, 400-metre race and 4×100-metre race.
Vice-Chancellor of UTB Datin Paduka Professor Dr Hajah Zohrah, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Vice-Chancellor Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle, Rector of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Dr Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal and Raés of Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar were the guests of honour.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat by UTB Head Ugama Officer Mohd Fazalley bin Haji Hidup followed by the final competition of track and field for the 4×100 metres for males.
The event concluded with the announcement of the winners and the prize presentation by the guests of honour.
