Up close and personal with new Range Rover Sport

The raw power of the third-generation new Range Rover Sport is set to be unleashed today in a private event at the Indera Motors’ showroom.

Media representatives and influencers were given a glimpse into the exhilarating power of the new Range Rover Sport in a test drive yesterday.

The new Range Rover Sport redefines sporting luxury, effortlessly combining assertive and instinctive on-road performance with trademark Range Rover refinement, progressive design sophistication and connected convenience.

Available in a new V8 and mild hybrid six-cylinder petrol engine, the new Range Rover Sport also introduced advanced chassis technologies than ever providing a comprehensive dynamic toolkit for the most engaging and dynamically capable driving experience.

Cornering agility is taken to a new height with All Wheel steering, Torque Vectoring by braking and Electronic Active Differential. All Wheel steering provides rear-wheel steering up to 7.3 degrees out of phase with the front wheels to achieve enhanced agility and manoeuvrability at low speed while turning in phase for superior stability at high speed.

Meanwhile, to enhance off-road performance, the new Range Rover Sport is equipped with Land Rover’s latest Terrain Response 2 system, which intelligently applies the most appropriate settings for the terrain. new adaptive off-road cruise control makes its debut on new Range Rover Sport and helps driver navigate tricky terrain by maintain steady progress according to the ground conditions.

Driver can also select one of the four settings and the system intelligently adjusts the speed accordingly to allow the driver to focus on steering.

The sophisticated luxury of the interior delivers the trademark Range Rover command driving position, the latest technologies and the finest materials which combine for an appealing elegance.

The award-winning Pivi-Pro infotainment features a high resolution floating 13.1-inch curved touch screen positioned at the centre of the dashboard providing control of everything from navigation to media and vehicle setting with just a click.

Without compromising on safety, the new Range Rover Sport has the latest safety-focussed advanced driver assistance system.

All models are fitted with emergency braking, 3D surround camera including front and rear parking sensors, wade sensing, clear sight ground view and manoeuvring lights, cruise control, driver condition monitor, lane keep assist and traffic sign recognition.
