Fifty-three young leaders from Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Girl Guides visited the Brunei Arts and Handicrafts Training Centre in the capital on Wednesday.
The delegation was led by Dr Syahirah binti Haji Shahlehi as the coordinator of UNISSA Girl Guides along with three members from the Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam (PPPBD).
The visit aimed to expose the members to the tasks and products available at the training centre.
The group was greeted on arrival by Public Relations Officer Hajah Zurina binti Abdullah as well as officers and staff of the centre. It proceeded with a briefing session on the background of the centre, followed by a tour, to take a closer look at the equipment and process in handicraft.
