    University holds intensive course on hadith

    Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), through the Faculty of Usuluddin in collaboration with the Centre for Leadership and Lifelong Learning (PKPSH), organised the first intensive hadith course series ‘Check Before Spreading’, yesterday. The course was presented by the Assistant Rector of Student and Alumni Affairs and Dean of Faculty of Usuluddin at UNISSA Dr Lilly Suzana binti Haji Shamsu.

    Thirty-seven participants attended the course which consist of officials and staff.

    The one-day course aimed at provide an understanding of the science behind Takhrij al-Hadith and its importance, provide an understanding in the use of specific methods to extract hadith from its original sources, and provide extensive knowledge of hadith reference books and writing methodology.

    In addition, among other purposes is to improve skills in interacting with the books of Turath in various categories not limited hadith and also provide basic knowledge in
    judging hadith.
