Twenty-one members of the military cadets from Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) received promotions in an event held at the university.
Commanding Officer of Military Cadets at the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) 905 Major Saleha binti Haji Alim was the guest of honour.
Two UNISSA military cadets were promoted to staff sergeant, six were promoted to sergeant, eight were promoted to corporal and the remainder were promoted to lance corporal.
Supervising teacher of the UNISSA military cadets Warrant Officer 1KT Muhammed Sahrin bin Haji Masri said it is hoped that the cadets will be able to strengthen their spirits and always be ready to serve.
He also encouraged them to give their best in all their activities, whether it be with the military cadets or daily life.
Head of the UNISSA Co-Curriculum Unit Haji Hayattuddin bin Haji Moksin and the officials of the Centre for the Promotion of Knowledge and Language (PPIB) as well as the administrative officers of the Army Cadet team were also present.
