Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) will organise the UBD Career Fair 2021 from June 16 to 18.
The three-day event will be delivered both physically and virtually in adherence to the Ministry of Health (MoH) guidelines and health measures.
The event will feature scheduled walk-in interviews, CV clinic and sharing sessions by UBD career guides.
This annual event, organised by the UBD’s Centre of Networking, Employment, and Career Training (UBD CoNECT) is held in support of the Office of Alumni Relations and Advancement (OARA).
The event aims to strengthen the collaboration between UBD and its industry partners in increasing the marketability of its students and graduates while bridging the gap of industries’ expectations with UBD future-ready graduates.
The event anticipates the participation of a variety of industries ranging from educational institutions, food and beverages, communications, health, and several government agencies, which will be offering employment opportunities and walk-in interviews for full-time and part-time vacancies as well as internship placements.
Pre-event activities comprising career talks and career workshops featuring industry experts will also be held on June 9.
These activities will provide opportunity for the public especially students, alumni and jobseekers, to acquire knowledge on what highly-demanded skills are in a majority of today’s careers, such as CV and cover letter-writing, as well as interviews, communication and presentation.
