A LOCAL duo was ordered remanded by the Magistrate’s Court to facilitate investigations after they were pressed with a charge of assisting in disposing stolen property.
Magistrate Hajah Ervy Sufitriana binti Haji Abdul Rahman heard from Deputy Public Prosecutor Hajah Siti Mu’izzah binti Haji Sabli that Rosli bin Ibrahim, 40, and Mohamad Amy bin Jasani, 32, were alleged to have committed the offence involving six brass ornaments at a scrapyard in Anduki at 9am on February 10, 2019.
The case is adjourned to February 20.
The penalty carried by the charge is five years’ imprisonment maximum and a fine.
