Two foreigners, one permanent resident detained in New Year joint operation

THE Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Unit and the House Break-in and Car Theft Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) under the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) in cooperation with the Royal Customs and Excise Department carried out a joint operation in conjunction with the New Year celebration at the ABMS Staff House at No 5, Simpang 267-9-40, Kampong Rimba.

Two foreigners and one permanent resident were detained and brought to the Royal Customs and Excise Department office for further investigation.

The case is being investigated under the Excise Order 2006, Section 146(1) (d) in relation to the offence of possession of restricted goods.

The RBPF through the CID, along with other law enforcement agencies will continuously monitor and detect law-breaking activities in the Sultanate.
