Two COVID-19 cases recover

Brunei reported two COVID-19 case recoveries yesterday, while four active cases are being treated at the National Isolation Centre (NIC), according to the Ministry of Health in its daily update.

Meanwhile, no new cases were reported yesterday, maintaining the national tally of 184 cases. Brunei now records 177 recoveries from COVID-19.

The last reported community transmission was reported on May 6, 2020 (284 days ago as of yesterday), while 43 imported cases were reported in the country so far.

Currently, there are 612 individuals undergoing mandatory self-isolation at dedicated self-isolation centres.

As of yesterday, 191 samples of the SARS-CoV-2 were tested, which brings the total number of tests conducted since January 2020 to 95,750.
