A flag-lowering ceremony was held in Tutong District’s community hall complex yesterday with Acting Tutong District Officer Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri attending the ceremony as the guest of honour.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a prayer led by Kampong Penabai Mosque imam Muhammad Abu Afiqah bin Lamit.
The national flag was then lowered by Royal Brunei Police Force personnel and handed over to the guest of honour.
Heads of Tutong District government departments and branches, mukim penghulus, village heads and acting village heads were present. – James Kon
