Trial set for man who stole from police force

The Magistrate’s Court yesterday fixed trial for January 24-29, 2022 for a 43-year-old local man on charges relating to stealing from the Royal Brunei Police Force.

Mohd Taha bin Haji Md Jinin @ Taha has claimed innocence towards allegations of stealing 50 metres of CCTV cable from Bangunan Letak Kereta Bertingkat, Jalan Cator in the capital at 9am on August 22.

The other charge alleges him of committing mischief by causing damage in the course of the purported theft.

Senior Magistrate Azrimah binti Abdul Rahman presided over the case while Prosecutor Kamal Ariffin bin Ismail prosecuted the case.
