Hajah Suria binti Haji Dahali, 37, who won BND10,000 in the the third quarterly draw of the Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) Aspirasi 4 Reward Campaign on Thursday, said she had not expected to win the money as she had initially felt that the chances of her winning would be slim.
“I had to push myself to come to this event because I was actually supposed to be admitted to the hospital for a procedure,” said Hajah Suria, adding that she took the opportunity to come just in case it was her rezeki.
She said she currently has no solid plan as to what she will do with the money aside from giving alms to her siblings.
Siti Nor Izzati Hasyyati binti Rosli, A’dhwatul Amanda binti Haji Abdul Kadir, Shalhamdulillah Zulhajji bin Sidi and Abdul Azim bin Said also each won BND10,000 at an event at the PGGMB building in the capital.
