Dr Ahmad Anwaar bin Muhammad Saifullah, recipient of the Vice Chancellor Gold Award Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Best Graduate in Medical Faculty at USIM in 2020 and former best student at Mahad Islam Brunei in Tutong District, shared his experience and tips for academic success in a seminar recently.
His sharing session included preparations for study, shaping thinking and attitude towards learning, lesson planning and ways to enhance understanding of subjects.
He also shared ways to tackle challenges and moulding the family around learning since early childhood to transform a child with low grades to become an outstanding student.
The seminar also covered tackling students’ addiction to playing games and gave suggestions to enforce discipline.
Participant ‘Aadilah binti Haji Mohd Rafee said she learned new knowledge and was thankful for this seminar. It helped fulfill her ambition and facilitates her plans.
Another parent said the seminar encouraged parents to come up with strategies both financially and academically. The organiser unveiled learning difficulties and gave better understanding to solve the problem.
The seminar was organised by Avicenna Resources. Coordinator ‘Ainan Husnaa said the event was aimed at sharing knowledge with students to help realise the goals of Brunei Vision 2035.
