Every year, I dread the start of the school year because of all the paperwork I have to do. On top of enrolment, book, profile, extra-curricular activities and parents-teachers association forms, I have to submit photocopies of relevant certificates and identity cards.
I am a mother of six, which means, I have to fill out 30 forms. My question is: Why are we still so hung up on these physical forms when we can make a greener step towards digital enrolment?
If the pandemic has paved the way for us to attend classes virtually and submit assignments from home, perhaps the next logical move is to digitise other procedures too.
