Three special needs students excel at sports meet

THREE special needs students from Raja Isteri Fatimah Primary School received medals for participating in the Primary Schools Athletics Championship for Cluster 2 on Thursday.

The students – Muhammad Mu’azzam Fathi Rabbani bin Haji Ismail, Hana Mumtazah binti Haji Md Danil and Nur Zafira Qarirah binti Saiful – were awarded medals for their participation at the event during a prize-giving ceremony at the school on Saturday.

Muhammad Mu’azzam Fathi Rabbani and Hana Mumtazah took third place in the 50 metres race while Nur Zafira Qarirah was placed third in the 100 metres race.

The school’s Headmistress Rosimah binti Haji Rashid presented the medals to the students.

“I am so proud of their achievements. Even though they’re special needs students, they are still very talented individuals,” said their Special Education Needs Assistance (SENA) teacher.
