Bangar Police Station personnel detained three individuals during a roadblock at the Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien (SHOAS) Bridge at noon on Thursday for the alleged involvement in smuggling.
Tembruong Police District Acting Commanding Officer (DSP) Haji Irham bin Haji Muhd Arshad said following a patrol to enforce the Infectious Fiseases Act Chapter 204, police personnel noticed a suspicious vehicle with a heavily loaded rear bonnet speeding at Ujung Jalan heading toward the SHOAS Bridge.
