Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) Primary School held a Tahlil and farewell, as well as the celebration of a new Muslim convert during a ceremony at its hall yesterday.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, prior to a handover of a Khairat donation to a teacher.
A souvenir was also presented to English teacher Oriella, as a gift to celebrate her retirement.
She had taught at the school since 1999.
The school also celebrated teaching staff Shunita Yong Dan’s conversion to Islam.
