BANGKOK (BERNAMA) – A Thai woman returning from Bahrain is the latest COVID-19 patient in Thailand, bringing the cumulative cases to 3,147 with 58 deaths.
Yesterday also marks 26 consecutive days of no local transmission in Thailand.
Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) said a total of 210 COVID-19 cases are Thai nationals returning from abroad and undergoing 14-day quarantine at state facilities. “Another 10 patients recovered from hospitals over the last 24 hours. To date, a total of 3,018 people have recovered and discharged while 71 are still undergoing treatment,” CCSA said in a statement.
Bangkok and Nonthaburi reported the highest number of cases with 1,757 followed by 744 (southern), 440 (central), northeastern (111) and 95 (north).
