Thailand extends ban on all incoming flights to April 30

BANGKOK (XINHUA) – The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) announced yesterday to extend the ban on all incoming flights from April 19 to April 30 with certain exceptions. “The ban was initially imposed on April 3 to stem the spread of the COVID-19 from overseas travelers and Thai returnees,” said CAAT Director Chula Sukmanop. “However, we have made careful assessment and decided that it is safer to extend the ban on incoming flights to the end of April.” More details in Thursday’s Borneo Bulletin
