Teachers and school leaders are advised to use the platforms provided under the Ministry of Education (MoE) in voicing concerns and issues regarding their duties, workload and well-being.

Minister of Education Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh also sought teachers and school leaders’ cooperation and trust to reach out directly to the ministry with their concerns, adding that the ministry will do its best in attending to the matters.

Teachers’ and school leaders’ lounges are provided on the MoE’s website for teachers and school leaders to share or voice concerns and issues. “The MoE’s social media and dedicated well-being lines can also be utilised to address urgent matters,” she added.

“Their concerns will be given attention and actions by qualified and authorised officers in confidence.”

Earlier, Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Hajah Safiah binti Sheikh Haji Abdul Salam raised a question regarding certain teachers preferring to use social media platforms to voice their issues instead of the channels provided.
