The Tutong District Amateur Football Association (TDAFA) will hold its 10th General Meeting at its office in Kampong Petani, Tutong tomorrow, the district association announced yesterday.
The TDAFA has invited clubs affiliated with the association to attend the general meeting for the four-year term of 2021-2025.
The district association has been actively contributing to the development of football in the country in recent times.
Last month, the association joined forces with the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) through the Referees Department and the Brunei Darussalam Referee Association to organise a basic referee course.
The four-day course, which spanned over two weekends, provided adequate information to aspiring referees and knowledge about the Laws of the Game, refereeing techniques and requirements to be top referees and as well as encouraged them to continue their refereeing career.
Earlier this year, TDAFA with the cooperation of NFABD and the Belait District Football Association (PBDB) organised a referee refresher seminar.
The seminar allowed participants to gain an understanding on the existing and amended rules which have been amended by the International Football Association Board (IFAB).
