The Rizqun Coffee House will host the Taste of Lucknowi Cuisine on February 15-16, where the public can enjoy the aromatic richness of unique spices from Lucknow in India.
The promotion, a collaboration with the High Commission of India in Brunei Darussalam and India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd, is to foster closer ties between Brunei Darussalam and India.
A chef specially flown from India, chef Kirti Rastogi, will demonstrate his culinary skills and prepare various dishes including tikka, kebab, biryani and korma. The rich and royal Lucknowi, or Awadhi cuisine will be highlighted. Chef Kirti Rastogi said that though Indian cuisine in Brunei use similar spices, certain spices can be found only in India.
