TARA Reid has dropped her USD100 million lawsuit against the producers of Sharknado, who she had accused of using her likeness without permission.
The 43-year-old actress – who played the part of April in the fantasy thriller franchise – filed a lawsuit against the people behind the movie series last December after they used her image on slot machines, arguing they had wrongfully profitted from her image, but according to The Blast, she has now submitted documents to court to inform them she is dropping all claims and dismissing her entire suit.
The documents noted that the “action is dismissed by the Plaintiff in its entirety”.
In her original lawsuit, the blonde beauty insisted her contract with Asylum Entertainment and SYFY Media Productions did not give the producers the right to use and profit from the use of her image on any branded products. – BANG!
