In light of the increasing number of road accidents, I would like to call on authorities to look into trimming tall grass on road verges, especially around bends and corners.
While highways tend to be well-maintained, certain busy junctions have become danger zones for motorists as neglected vegetation on road verges decreases visibility, thus posing road hazards.
It is an especially pressing issue because of the amount of rainfall we’re seeing. The grass is growing faster than normal, making it impossible for road users to gauge oncoming traffic.
